FED: Gulpilil in hospital with heart problems

Aboriginal actor DAVID GULPILIL is in a Sydney hospital .. after suffering heart problems
during a flight from Brisbane.

The 54-year-old .. who's working on BAZ LUHRMANN'S film Australia .. fell ill on a
Qantas flight last night.

He was taken by ambulance from Sydney airport to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital .. where
he's in a stable condition this morning.

Qantas says the plane wasn't struck by lightning as was reported earlier.
